GA/R: GHS starts mass COVID vaccination in Ga East on Jan 20
The Greater Accra Regional office of the Ghana Health Service (GHS) will on Friday, January 20, 2023, start a national mass Covid-19 vaccination exercise for people who have not taken any of the doses and those who have taken only their first dose.
The national vaccination exercise is expected to end on January 24, 2023.
The vaccination points in the Ga East municipality are GAEC Hospital, Ga East Municipal Hospital, Taifa Polyclinic, Dome RCH (Zonal Council), Auntie Mary Taxi Station, Community Hospital, Abokobi Health Centre, Ablor Adjei Assemblyman’s house and Akporman RCH.
The GHS in a flyer announcing the date said eligible persons are all persons 15 years and above who have never been vaccinated, pregnant women, persons who have received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine and are awaiting their second and persons who require the booster dose
