GHS raises concerns over harsh weather condition
The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has raised concerns over the prevailing harsh weather conditions.
The advisory specifically targets individuals with conditions like asthma and chronic respiratory issues, emphasising the importance of public awareness.
GHS in a statement recommends caution, advocating the use of protective gear to counter potential health risks arising from compromised air quality and dusty surroundings.
Precautions include limiting outdoor activities, especially for vulnerable demographics such as children and the elderly.
The advisory suggests the adoption of face masks to minimise dust exposure and underscores the significance of staying well-hydrated by consuming ample water throughout the day.
