Ghana Gas to enroll 10,000 onto NHIS
The Ghana National Gas Company Limited has embarked on a two-month free registration exercise to enrol 10,000 people in its catchment communities of the company onto the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
The project dubbed ‘Free NHIS Registration For Project-Affected Communities’ started on November 11, 2022, and is expected to end on December 11, 2022.
The Western Regional Director of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), Emmanuel Raphel Okyere, who graced the project launch, commended Ghana Gas for the enrolment support.
He encouraged the public to register since the NHIS is the sure bet to easy access to healthcare care in Ghana.
