#2024Polls: We trust in your capabilities to turn things around – Old Vandals congratulate Mahama

The Commonwealth Alumni of the University of Ghana, known as the Old Vandals, have congratulated John Dramani Mahama on his projected victory in the 2024 general election.
In a statement, the alumni group, which counts Mr. Mahama among its own, lauded his success and that of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), describing it as a “momentous and resounding victory.”
The statement said: “On the occasion of this momentous and resounding victory, we, on behalf of the Old Vandals fraternity, extend to H.E. Vandal John Dramani Mahama and the entire NDC family vandalistic, heartwarming, and inspiring felicitations.”
The group expressed their belief that Mr. Mahama’s win was a result of divine timing and voiced their confidence in his ability to confront the challenges ahead.
“The Almighty God is Great. He does things in His own ways and in His own time. We acknowledge the difficult tasks ahead. Nevertheless, we have utmost trust and confidence in your capabilities to turn things around in due course,” the statement added.
In a show of unwavering support, the Old Vandals pledged to stand by Mr. Mahama throughout his presidency, reaffirming their commitment to contributing to the country’s progress.
“We hold ourselves in readiness to support you to the brim. You can always count on us. Your success is ours, and ours is yours,” they assured.
