Akufo-Addo receives letters of credence of six envoys

A brief ceremony was held at the Jubilee House in Accra on Friday, 23rd February, 2024 where six new Envoys presented their Letters of Credence to the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The six Envoys are Mr. Park Kyongsig, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Ms. Polly Ioannou, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Peter Ryan, Ambassador of Ireland, Mrs. Annika Hahn-Englund, Ambassador of Sweden, Mr. Mahlaba Almon Mamba, High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Eswatini, and Mr. David Buom Choa, Ambassador of South Sudan.
During the ceremony, the President congratulated the Envoys on their appointment and indicated the readiness of the Government of Ghana to support them in the discharge of their duties.
He further tasked the Envoys to strengthen the bilateral and multilateral relations between Ghana and their respective countries.
While assuring the President of their commitment to deepen the relations between Ghana and their respective countries, the Envoys, expressed gratitude for the acceptance of their Letters of Credence.
The ceremony was witnessed by some senior Officials at the Office of the President and the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong (MP).
