Bawumia congratulates Mahama as Ghana’s President-elect

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has extended his congratulations to John Dramani Mahama on his election as Ghana's President in the 2024 presidential polls.
Dr. Bawumia disclosed that he personally called Mr. Mahama to convey his congratulations, acknowledging the decision of the Ghanaian people.
"The people have spoken, and we, as the New Patriotic Party (NPP), respect the will of the masses," Dr. Bawumia stated.
Reflecting on the outcome, he emphasized the need for the party to evaluate the events leading to the elections.
"We will take stock of the journey so far and draw lessons to guide our future actions," he added.
Dr. Bawumia’s message underscores the NPP’s commitment to democracy and its respect for the collective decision of the electorate.
