Bryan Acheampong best positioned to unite NPP and prevent grassroots neglect— Razak Kojo Opoku

Dr. Razak Kojo Opoku, a prominent member of the Bryan Acheampong for President 2028 campaign, has made a strong case for the selection of Dr. Bryan Acheampong as the next leader of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), citing his unifying qualities and strategic leadership.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, July 22, Dr. Kojo Opoku remarked that at a time when "two elephants are fighting" and causing internal distractions, it is prudent to rally around a candidate who can hold the party together and protect its grassroots from the pains of opposition.
He argued that Dr. Bryan Acheampong represents a consensus choice who can bridge the growing divisions within the party.
“A ‘consensus’ Bryan Acheampong will unite the different factions, reduce conflict, and ensure collaboration and harmony within the party at all levels of leadership,” he noted.
Dr. Kojo Opoku emphasised that without a leader who can foster internal cohesion, the party risks deepening its internal cracks and weakening its structures at the grassroots, which are critical to winning elections.
