Chief of Staff: Julius Debrah directs heads of gov’t institutions to provide info on staff, payroll
In line with ongoing efforts to ensure the accuracy and integrity of government payroll records under the John Mahama administration,” Chief of Staff Julius Debrah has asked heads of government institutions to provide “information on staff who have been added to your Institution's payroll since Saturday 7th December 2024”.
This was contained in a letter, signed by Mr Debrah, bearing a Ministry of Transport, Chief Director stamp bearing the date January 15, 2025.
“This information is critical to maintaining transparency and accountability in our payroll management processes,” the letter explained.
“You are kindly requested to submit the following details for each staff member added within the specified period: a. Full Name. b. Designation/Job Title. c. Employee Identification Number (if applicable). d. Date of Appointment. e. Date Added to Payroll,” the letter indicated.
“Kindly ensure that the requested data is submitted to my office no later than Friday 31st January 2025,” it directed, concluding: “Should you require further clarification or have any questions regarding this directive, please do not hesitate to contact.
“Your cooperation in this important matter is highly appreciated.”
