Concerned Youth of Tema commends TDC boss for transformative leadership

The Concerned Youth of Tema in the Greater Accra Region have applauded the Acting Managing Director of TDC Ghana Limited, Mr. Courage Makafui Nunekpeku, for what they describe as remarkable and transformative leadership since his appointment six months ago by President John Dramani Mahama.
In a statement issued over the weekend, the youth group said Mr. Nunekpeku has restored public confidence in TDC and significantly improved its operations, particularly in the real estate sector.
According to the group, processes that previously took landlords, developers, and business owners months or even years to complete are now handled swiftly under new initiatives rolled out by the TDC boss.
Among the innovations introduced are:
Premium and Prestige Services, which ensure documents can be processed within a week.
24-hour service delivery, including a call centre and door-to-door courier services, aligned with President Mahama’s 24-hour economy vision.
Mechanical and Engineering Units, replacing reliance on outsourced engineers.
Safety and Environmental Units to strengthen compliance and standards.
New Starlet offices across Ashaiman, Community 24, Community 25, and Community 26, expanding TDC’s accessibility.
The youth group further praised Mr. Nunekpeku for instilling discipline within the institution, halting indiscriminate land allocations, and reclaiming state lands that had been wrongfully taken in the past.
“Mr. Courage has strategically uplifted the image of TDC to its glorious days,” the statement read, noting that his hands-on leadership style and engineering expertise have set a new benchmark for public service.
The Concerned Youth of Tema also expressed gratitude to President Mahama for what they described as a “well-thought-out appointment,” urging other appointees to emulate Mr. Nunekpeku’s energy, innovation, and commitment to results.
