Dec polls: Mahama begins 5-day WR tour
The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr John Dramani Mahama, will, from today, 19th October 2020, embark on a five-day campaign tour of the Western Region.
The tour, which will take him to all the 17 constituencies in the region, will start from the Amenfi West constituency and end in the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis on Friday, the NDC has announced.
Mr Mahama, as part of his tour, will also visit traditional authorities, opinion leaders, strategic groupings and party supporters.
The former President is expected to address key issues in the region, especially “abandoned infrastructural projects, locked-up funds in financial institutions, cocoa-related issues, fishing issues, and small-scale mining challenges while sharing key components of the peoples' manifesto related to the Western Region,” the NDC said in a statement.
