Defence Minister to address nation in Government Accountability series today

The Presidency Communications Directorate is set to host Dr. Edward K. Omane Boamah, Minister for Defence, in today’s edition of the Government Accountability Series.
Scheduled for 11:00 AM, the session is expected to provide a detailed account of the Ministry of Defence’s operations, key achievements, and strategic priorities under the current administration.
Dr. Omane Boamah is also anticipated to address pressing national security issues, defence infrastructure, and ongoing efforts to modernise the Ghana Armed Forces.
The Government Accountability Series is part of the presidency's broader commitment to transparency and public engagement, offering citizens a platform to hear directly from ministers on their stewardship.
The event will be broadcast live on official government social media platforms, including @GhanaPresidency and @ISDGhana.
