Dr. Adamu Abdulai backs Dr. Bawumia for Saturday's primary
As the New Patriotic Party presidential primary draws near on Saturday, January 31, 2026, Dr. Adamu Abdulai, a former aspirant for the Lower West Akim Constituency on the ticket of NPP, is urging delegates to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the party's candidate.
Dr. Abdulai believes that Dr. Bawumia has presented a strong case for his re-election to lead the party, referencing his proposals for ten appointments per constituency, a delegates' database system, and a constituency-focused budget to address developmental needs.
He also emphasised Dr. Bawumia's vision for Ghana, which encompasses digital transformation, job creation, access to quality education and healthcare, and economic advancement.
Dr. Abdulai commends Dr. Bawumia's commitment to the party's principles, including inclusivity, transparency, accountability, and respect for all individuals.
Furthermore, he remarked that Dr Bawumia's broad national appeal, technical expertise, and outstanding track record make him exceptionally qualified to lead the NPP to success.
