EC reopens voter register Oct. 1 for fresh registration
The Electoral Commission is opening the voter registration exercise one more time.
This, according to the electoral management body, is to give the opportunity to those who have attained the age of 18 and citizens who, for one reason or the other, were not able to register in the just-ended registration exercise.
The date for the registration will be 1 October 2020.
The one-day exercise will take place in all district offices of the commission throughout the country.
The registration will start from 7 am to 6 pm.
The EC disclosed these in a statement.
