Every vote matters, let’s head to the polls – Jane Opoku-Agyemang to Ghanaians
The Vice Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has called on Ghanaians to seize the opportunity to chart a new course for the country by voting in the ongoing Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
In a Facebook post on voting day, the candidate urged citizens to rally behind the NDC, emphasising that the party remains the nation’s best hope for a brighter future.
"We have a crucial opportunity to change the direction in which our beloved country is heading. It is essential that we all come together and make our voices heard by voting for the NDC in both the presidential and parliamentary elections," the post read.
The candidate reaffirmed the significance of the umbrella symbol, describing it as a long-standing representation of the nation's aspirations and a beacon of hope for progress.
"By participating in this election, we can express our desire for change and a better tomorrow for all citizens. It’s not just about choosing a party; it's about standing up for the values and progress we believe in," the post continued.
The Vice Presidential candidate further encouraged Ghanaians to take their civic duty seriously and inspire others to do the same, stressing the impact of collective action.
"Every vote matters, and together, we can pave the way for a new era of leadership that prioritises the needs and aspirations of our people. So let’s all head out to the polls with determination and purpose," the statement concluded.
