Ex-KMA boss appointed new NSS boss
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Mr Osei Assibey Antwi as Executive Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS).
Mr Osei Assibey Antwi is the immediate past mayor of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly.
His appointment letter signed by Chief of Staff Frema Akosua Opare and dated 17 September 2021, read: "Pursuant to Section 15 (1) of the Ghana National Service Scheme Act, 1990 (Act 426), I am pleased to inform you that the president has appointed you to act as the Executive Director of the Ghana National Service Scheme pending receipt of the constitutionally required advice of the governing board of the Scheme, given in consultation with the Public Services Commission".
"I take the opportunity to congratulate you formally on your appointment".
"Kindly indicate your acceptance or otherwise of this appointment, within 14 days of receipt of this letter. Please accept the President’s best wishes."
