The Member of Parliament for Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency in the Central Region, Mr Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has inaugurated three newly completed school blocks and two Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds to improve education and healthcare delivery in the area.
The educational facilities opened include a Kindergarten block at Srodofo Abaasa, a six-unit basic school block at Okyiriku, and a three-unit Junior High School block at Emprio.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremonies, the MP reaffirmed his commitment to expanding access to quality education across the constituency, noting that improved infrastructure plays a critical role in enhancing teaching and learning outcomes.
In addition to the school projects, Mr. Kwakye Ofosu, who also serves as Government Spokesperson, inaugurated two CHPS compounds at Nyamedom and Abakah to strengthen primary healthcare services in the communities.
To support the effective functioning of the health facilities, he donated modern medical equipment to facilitate service delivery and improve patient care.
The opening of the projects is expected to ease pressure on existing schools and health centres while bringing essential social services closer to residents in the beneficiary communities.
Residents and local leaders expressed appreciation for the interventions, describing them as timely and impactful for the development of the constituency.
