‘Moko Aya Ne Moko Aba’ – Opoku Agyemang urges Ghanaians to vote NDC ahead of Dec. 7 polls
The Vice Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has called on Ghanaians to vote decisively to remove the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from power in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
Speaking passionately in the Ga language at the NDC’s final campaign rally at Zurak Park in Madina, Greater Accra Region, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang rallied supporters with the phrase "Moko Aya Ne Moko Aba"—meaning "someone must leave for another to come."
"For the good of Ghana, the NPP must be shown the exit," she declared, urging voters to choose John Dramani Mahama and the NDC for a better future.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang emphasized John Mahama’s leadership qualities, describing him as a respectful leader with a kind heart.
She contrasted this with the NPP’s performance, accusing the governing party of mismanaging the economy and failing to deliver tangible results for Ghanaians.
“There will be nothing to show for the country if the NPP remains in power,” she cautioned, stressing the importance of change.
She urged party supporters to turn out in large numbers on election day, stating that a vote for John Mahama is a vote for Ghana’s future.
