NDC Legal Director commends NPP MP Patrick Boamah for his thoughtful demeanour
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Director of Legal Affairs, Godwin Edudzi Tameklo, has showered praise on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, Mr Patrick Boamah, describing him as a thoughtful and composed legislator.
In a light-hearted social media post, Mr. Tameklo referred to the MP as “my learned senior,” commending his calm and reflective personality.
“My learned senior, Hon. Patrick Boamah, has always had this thoughtful demeanour,” he wrote, accompanying the remark with a photo of the MP.
The NDC legal chief humorously added, “I don’t know why I am sharing this picture — Patrick Boamah for President?” before noting that his next appearance before the Subsidiary Legislation Committee, which the MP chairs, might be an interesting one.
Mr. Tameklo’s remarks have drawn attention across the political spectrum, with many interpreting them as a rare moment of camaraderie between leading figures of the country’s two main political parties.
Hon. Patrick Boamah, who represents the Okaikwei Central Constituency, is known for his firm but respectful approach to parliamentary work and his leadership on the Subsidiary Legislation Committee.
