Never give up on Ghana – Ablakwa to Barker-Vormawor
Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has encouraged Fix the Country convener Oliver Barker-Vormawor not to give up on Ghana.
Mr Ablakwa gave the encouragement when he met Mr Barker-Vormawor at this year’s Mepe Afenorto festival held in Mepe in the North Tongu Constituency of the Volta region on Saturday, 6 August 2022.
Sharing pictures of his meeting with Mr Barker-Vormawor in a Facebook post on Tuesday, 9 August 2022, Mr Ablakwa noted: “It was such a delight to welcome home North Tongu’s famous prodigal son at Saturday’s Mepe Afenorto Festival.
“No patriot can contest the fact that Ghana needs fixing, even though we may differ on some methodologies.”
The MP added: “My brother, Mawuse Oliver Barker-Vormawor, stay strong and never give up on Ghana.”
Mr Barker-Vormawor has been charged with treason felony.
At the last hearing on Monday, 1 August 2022, the case was committed to trial on Thursday, 1 September 2022, at the Accra High Court.
