Reject ‘trial and error’ Mahama; presidency not for correcting mistakes – Akufo-Addo
President Nana Akufo-Addo has said former President John Mahama is a ‘trial and error’ leader who must not be voted back into power in the 7 December 2020 polls.
Speaking to party supporters at Amasaman in the Greater Accra Region, the President said the promise by the presidential candidate of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to correct his mistakes should he in the next polls, should not be entertained.
“The Presidency of Ghana is not for trial and error”, Mr Akufo-Addo said.
“It is not a place for correcting mistakes”, he stressed.
“It is a place for working; positive work and positive contribution to the development of our country”, the President added.
In his view, the “New Patriotic Party has the blueprint for the development of our country”, saying: “We have seen the foundation being laid in Akufo-Addo’s first term of the Presidency.”
“The second term is going to see the fruition and confirmation of the blueprint and the development and rapid transformation of our country,” the President said.
