Speaker refers final batch of Deputy Minister nominees to Appointments Committee

The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has officially referred the nominations of four Deputy Ministers to the Appointments Committee for vetting and approval.
The nominees include Dorcas Affo-Toffey as Deputy Minister for Transport, James Gyakye Quayson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed Adam Sukparu as Deputy Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, and Grace Ayensu-Danquah as Deputy Minister for Health.
These appointments, made by the President, constitute the final batch of Deputy Ministerial nominations for the current administration.
The Appointments Committee is expected to begin its review process in the coming days, after which recommendations will be made to the full House for approval or rejection.
The nominations are part of ongoing efforts to complete the formation of the President’s team to support key government ministries in delivering on national priorities.
