We’ll work closely with traditional authorities – Opoku Prempeh

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has paid a courtesy call on Nene Sakite II, Konor of Manya and President of the Eastern Regional House of Chiefs.
Accompanying Dr. Prempeh on this visit was a dedicated team led by the National Organiser of the party, Henry Boakye.
The purpose of the visit was multifaceted – to seek blessings, gain wise counsel, and reaffirm Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s commitment to a deeper partnership with traditional authorities aimed at fostering harmony and socio-economic growth.
Dr. Prempeh highlighted the importance of traditional councils in national development and reiterated the NPP's dedication to working closely with these bodies.
In addition to the engagement with Nene Sakite II, Dr. Prempeh and his team took the opportunity to commiserate with the family of the late Lt. Christian Kofi Tettey, affectionately known as Black State.
Lt. Tettey was a founding member of the NPP who dedicated his life to the service of the party and the nation.
Dr. Prempeh expressed his condolences, recognising Lt. Tettey's significant contributions and unwavering commitment to the party's ideals
