You're blessed and can't be destroyed - Denkyira Traditional Council to Bawumia
The Denkyira Traditional Council has expressed its belief and confidence in Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in his bid to become president of Ghana.
Welcoming Dr. Bawumia to Dunkwa-on-Offin on Wednesday during his campaign tour, the Denkyira Traditional Council, in a speech delivered by Nana Kwame Nkrumah II, stated that Dr Bawumia has been blessed, and no one can destroy him.
"Who the Lord has blessed, no one can destroy," the chiefs declared.
As Dr. Bawumia arrived in the town, it began to rain.
The Traditional Council noted that this was a sign of immense blessings brought by his visit.
"Your presence here is a blessing for all of us. The first sign of the blessings you have brought is the rain. We have not seen rain here for some time, but today, with your arrival, God has opened the heavens, and the rains have fallen, coinciding with your visit. It indeed signifies blessings and victory."
The Denkyira Traditional Council also praised Dr. Bawumia for his conduct and decency during the 2024 campaign.
"Since you were elected flagbearer, we have noticed the decency in your communication. You do not insult. You consistently discuss your policies and speak against indecent comments," they said.
"We have never heard you insult anyone since you began your campaign, and this shows that you are truly a man of wisdom who thinks deeply."
"You are humble, and you show great respect for the elderly and everyone. May God continue to bless you."
The chiefs also took the opportunity to commend the Akufo-Addo government for its achievements, including the implementation of Free SHS, which they said has brought relief to many homes in Denkyira.
