Black Maidens travel to Senegal for decisive U-17 Women's World Cup qualifier
Ghana's Black Maidens have travelled to Senegal for the first leg of the final qualifying round of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
The delegation, made up of 24 players, the technical team and officials, departed from the Accra International Airport on Tuesday on an ASKY Airlines flight.
The Black Maidens are one tie away from securing a place at the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup after progressing through the previous qualifying rounds.
In the lead-up to the fixture, the team has been holding training sessions as the technical staff prepares the squad for the two-legged contest.
The team is scheduled to arrive in Dakar later on Tuesday, with qualification for the tournament to be decided over the two matches against Senegal.
