The nationwide talent identification programme for the Black Starlets will continue in the Central Region on July 2, 2026, as coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle and his technical team continue their search for young football talent.

The scouting exercise will take place at the Senya Breku AstroTurf and is scheduled to start at 9:00 AM.

Young players from across the region are expected to take part as part of preparations for the next Black Starlets cycle.

Coach Mingle and his technical team will monitor a series of matches and assessment games to evaluate players’ technical skills, tactical awareness, physical attributes and overall potential.

The programme is focused on boys born in 2010 and 2011, who will have the opportunity to display their abilities before national team selectors and compete for selection to the next stage.

Players who perform well will be shortlisted for further assessment at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

The final phase will provide a more detailed evaluation before the next Black Starlets squad is selected.
