Hundreds of bikers ride through Accra for ‘Ghana Peace Ride’ ahead of elections
Hundreds of bikers and biking enthusiasts took to the streets of Accra for the Ghana Peace Ride, a peaceful procession aimed at promoting unity and harmony ahead of the upcoming general elections.
The event, organized by a coalition of neutral biking groups, sought to encourage Ghanaians to maintain peace before, during, and after the elections.
The bikers, riding through Accra's principal streets, held placards displaying peace messages at major intersections, creating a powerful visual display advocating for public awareness and reflection on the importance of peaceful elections.
"The Ghana Peace Ride is a call to action," said one of the event's coordinators.
"We believe that every citizen has a role to play in ensuring peaceful elections.
We're proud to unite bikers across the country to promote national unity."
In addition to the peaceful ride, the event marked the official launch of Bikers in Ghana, a new association aimed at bringing together all bikers under one umbrella to promote collaboration and shared values within the biking community.
