Uruguay on Friday, 2nd December, stopped Ghana's World Cup journey when they beat the Black Stars 2-0.
Addo had early on indicated he would resign after the competition and go back to his work at Dortmund even if Ghana were crowned world champions.
Otto Addo's Black Stars finished bottom in Group H behind Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal.
