Qatar 2022: Very proud of the Black Stars – Akufo-Addo
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said the Black Stars team has what it takes to face any team in the ongoing World Cup in Qatar.
President Akufo-Addo’s comments come on the back of Ghana’s opening match against Portugal in Qatar on Thursday, 24 November 2022.
Portugal beat Ghana 3-2.
In a Facebook post, President Akufo-Addo described the performance of team as “Gutsy.”
He said: “Very proud of the entire team. They live to fight another day, and have shown they have what it takes to mix it up against any team in the tournament.”
“Looking forward to the next game against South Korea,” the President added.
