Thomas Partey likely to leave Arsenal this summer

Midfielder Thomas Partey is attracting interest from several top European clubs as he nears the end of his Arsenal contract, setting up a potential high-profile free transfer this summer.
With no official contract talks between Arsenal and Partey ahead of the 2025/26 season, sources close to the player suggest the club is unlikely to extend his stay.
The 31-year-old joined the Gunners in a dramatic £45 million deadline-day move from Atletico Madrid in 2020 but now appears set for an exit as Arsenal prepares to overhaul its midfield.
Both Partey and Jorginho are nearing the end of their deals, prompting the club to target Real Sociedad’s Martín Zubimendi as part of a midfield rebuild.
Partey’s availability has drawn interest from Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and long-time admirers Juventus.
While clubs from Saudi Arabia have also made inquiries, the Ghanaian international prefers to remain in Europe.
At this stage, a return to Spain appears to be his preferred option, with Barcelona reportedly leading the race for his signature.
However, no final decision has been made regarding his next move.
