Ghana Gas shuts down processing plants today for maintenance

The Ghana National Gas Company (Ghana Gas) has announced the shutdown of its Processing Plant and Offshore Gas Export Facilities for maintenance starting today, Thursday, August 1.
This maintenance exercise, set to conclude on Saturday, August 17, aims to enhance the plant’s operational efficiency and ensure an uninterrupted gas supply.
In a statement released on Wednesday, July 31, Ghana Gas confirmed that during this period, Lean Gas from the Sankofa-OCTP field will be available for delivery at Takoradi Distribution Stations.
The company has apologised for any inconvenience this may cause and assured the public of a continued effective power supply.
