SIC Insurance advocates stronger ties between insurers and brokers

The Acting Managing Director of SIC Insurance PLC, Mr. James Agyenim-Boateng, has emphasized the need for enhanced collaboration between insurance companies and brokerage firms to bolster the growth and capacity of Ghana’s insurance industry.
He made the remarks during a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of KEK Insurance Brokers, Mr. Shaibu Ali, at the company’s headquarters in Accra.
Mr. Ali also serves as the President of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ghana (IBAG).
Commending Mr. Ali for organizing a successful brokers conference in Kwahu, Mr. Agyenim-Boateng expressed his desire to build strong relationships across the insurance value chain.
“I believe the insurance business thrives on a solid network of like-minded partners, and I am committed to building those connections for the benefit of SIC and the broader industry,” he stated.
He emphasized the importance of a united front in driving industry growth and fostering innovation.
Mr. Agyenim-Boateng also pledged his commitment to working closely with KEK Insurance Brokers and other brokerage firms to explore business opportunities and develop mutually beneficial products and services. “There is a new dawn at SIC Insurance PLC, and I encourage all industry players to come on board,” he added.
In response, Mr. Shaibu Ali welcomed the visit and assured Mr. Agyenim-Boateng of KEK’s readiness to collaborate in business prospecting, product development, and other strategic initiatives.
As part of his engagements, Mr. Agyenim-Boateng also paid a visit to the offices of ArrowClass Insurance Brokers Limited.
During the visit, he reiterated his call for closer cooperation between insurers and brokers.
Mr. Mathias Dapilah, Managing Director of ArrowClass Insurance Brokers, acknowledged the long-standing partnership between his firm and SIC Insurance PLC and expressed his commitment to deepening that relationship for mutual growth.
