YEA launches "Youth In ICT" training programme amidst AI revolution

In an era where technological advancements are rapidly transforming industries, the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has announced the launch of its Information Communications Technology (ICT) training programme "Youth In ICT," to equip Ghanaian youth with essential digital skills.
According to Prince Obeng; the Greater Accra Regional Director of YEA the initiative, is in partnership with Ghana Digital Centres Limited’
He said it aims to prepare the young population to thrive in the ever-evolving landscape of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
The YEA’s new programme comes at a time when Artificial Intelligence (AI) is poised to revolutionize various sectors, offering unprecedented opportunities for innovation and job creation.
He noted that the agency's portal is now open for applications, inviting young Ghanaians to seize this chance to enhance their ICT capabilities and stay competitive in the global market.
"The dawn of Artificial Intelligence heralds a new era of innovation and possibility," stated Mr Obeng.
"It's not just about keeping up; it's about embracing the future at full throttle.
