The resident choir of Jesus House Chapel International (JHCI) is stepping into the spotlight with its first official release, Ajormi (I Am Blessed), a song aimed at reminding listeners of God’s constant, yet often overlooked, goodness in their lives.

The group, known as Destiny Crew, comprises 16 members and was formed three years ago. It serves as the church’s official choir, providing a platform for members to use their musical gifts in service and worship, while sharpening their skills through personalised mentorship and a shared pursuit of excellence.

Since its inception, Destiny Crew has supported regular church services and steadily nurtured its sound as a unified team. The release of Ajormi (I Am Blessed) marks the group’s first step toward sharing its music beyond the local congregation.

According to the choir, the choice of song for their debut was deliberate. Rather than opting for something elaborate or complex, they selected a simple, relatable piece that draws attention to the blessings believers already have through Jesus Christ.

Described as an “everyday song,” Ajormi is intended to serve as a steady reminder to remain thankful and conscious of God’s presence and provision. The live audience present for the music video shoot responded warmly, praising both the song’s beauty and the strength of its message.

With its release coinciding with the start of the 2026 new year, the choir hopes the song will inspire a mindset of gratitude in the months ahead.

Performed in Ga and English, the message, the JHCI choir says, is clear: in the new year and beyond, believers should not lose sight of the fact that they are blessed on every side.

As a relatively new choir, Destiny Crew remains focused on steady growth and meaningful ministry, trusting that consistency and purpose will help them make their mark through music that uplifts and inspires.
