Dec. 7 polls: Vote peacefully, prioritise your safety, wellbeing as you fulfil the dreams of politicians – Mr Drew
When you vote, “you’re helping someone achieve their [political] dreams,” singer Mr Drew has said.
“In doing that, don’t go and hurt yourself,” he added, highlighting the need for every citizen to help maintain peace and stability as Ghana goes to the polls on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
Mr Drew spoke to Zeal Nana Kweku Bliss on Class 91.3 FM’s Class Xtra.
“Think about your [wellbeing, first],” the Mood hitmaker urged voters.
“If you put the person into power wanting them to come and help you, [note] they cannot help you if you’re [brutally] hurt. Also, the last thing you want to do these days is end up at the hospital – you’ll suffer,” he cautioned.
“There are no beds in the hospitals for patients. Please, guard your health, go vote and go home. Don’t go and hurt yourself.”
The dancer and singer-songwriter emphasised: “If you’re healthy and fit, go vote peacefully, come home and let’s jam [to some music] as we entertain you.”
