Rapper Edem has indicated he is venturing into politics
Ghanaian rap star Denning Edem Hotor, alias Edem Goget'em, has made a surprise announcement indicating that he is venturing into politics.
Via Twitter today, Tuesday, March 21, 2023, Edem shared a flyer which bore the official logo of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and showed him in a sparkling white long-sleeve with dark shades on.
Also on the flyer were his official and professional names, underneath which were the words: "Big announcement soon. Fully active."
The 'Ghetto Arise' hitmaker, multiple award-winning musician and businessman informed his fans via the tweets caption that he would give details concerning the announcement tomorrow at 4 PM.

On February 22, 2023, the NDC opened nominations for its presidential and parliamentary primaries for the 2024 elections.
The party has announced May 13, 2023, for both presidential and parliamentary primaries.
