'Everlasting': Sarkodie and Shatta Wale deepen reconciliation with new collaboration
Rapper Sarkodie has announced the release of a new collaboration with singer and record producer Shatta Wale.
The song, titled Everlasting, features Sarkodie as the lead artist, with Shatta Wale appearing as a guest.
The release comes after years of public tension between the two musicians, which at times escalated into exchanges of diss tracks. In 2025, however, the pair shared the stage at Sarkodie's Rapperholic Homecoming concert in Kumasi, a moment widely viewed by fans as a sign of reconciliation.
Sarkodie and Shatta Wale have previously teamed up on several popular songs, including Dancehall Commando, Megyn Wo Girl, Fire Bon Dem Remix and One Shot.
The cover art for Everlasting shows the two artistes posing in a garage surrounded by luxury vehicles which appear to be Lamborghini Urus SUVs of diverse colours.
The choice of vehicles in the artwork has attracted attention, particularly in light of previous controversy surrounding a yellow Lamborghini Urus that was found in Shatta Wale's possession and later impounded as part of a criminal investigation involving authorities in Ghana and the United States.
The surprise announcement of Everlasting has generated significant interest among fans, many of whom have long anticipated another collaboration between the two Ghanaian music stars following their reconciliation.
