OJ advises young men: Don’t waste your time chasing women; invest in yourself

OJ has said he has a vault of songs and whenever he is ready to put one out, he only asks himself, “which one should it be?”
He spoke to Taller Dee on the Journey to Heaven programme on No.1 FM, 105.3.
“I started writing into a book from 1995,” he revealed.
The Gospel star encouraged young people to identify time is their utmost resource. He advised same to eschew time-draining habits like immorality, and rather invest in self-discovery, while utilising technology to the advantage of their unique careers.
“If you’re young, you have more time. When I was young, I was not spending my time on chasing women. I was so into myself to the extent that I wanted to get more because I noticed when I eventually got married, I’d have too many responsibilities, which will distract your inspiration to write.
"While you’re young, write. Your generation is even fortunate to have phones you can record your ideas onto. Even 10 years after, there are songs you can revisit from these records. Save these, push them to your email. By the time you realise, you’ll have many songs.
“If not, when you become an adult, get married, have children, start travelling, etc., the music may become nearly impossible to do,” the serial hitmaker cautioned.
Michael Oware Sakyi, affectionately called Minister OJ, is a widely respected prolific singer-songwriter and composer who artfully combines socially conscious and Christian themes in his music.
