In their report on Facebook, police noted recovering the following items from the suspects named: two iPhones, a Mercedes-Benz C180, two Toyota Corollas and a Toyota Fortuner “suspected to have been obtained through illegal means”.
“Investigations have so far revealed that the suspects are part of a criminal syndicate involved in the robbery and sale of stolen vehicles across the country,” the police said.
“All the suspects are in police custody assisting the investigation.”
Reggae/Dancehall star Stonebwoy on August 20, while guesting on the national broadcaster GBC's GTV Breakfast Show hosted by Kafui Dei made an appeal for his road manager Chief Stylz's stolen Mercedes-Benz to be returned. He indicated it was a C series vehicle.
