According to Spotify, Dr Sonnie Badu's go-to genre was Afrobeats in 2023, spending 43,040 minutes on the music and podcast platform.

His favourite artistes for 2023 had Sarkodie at the very top, followed by Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, Burna Boy, and Sonnie Badu.

Meanwhile, his favourite songs were: Confession by Kinaata, Run by Black Sherif, Nukedzor (What's Up) by Stonebwoy ft Joey B and Abra Cadabra, Butta My Bread by JZyNo ft Lasmid, and Patek by Mr Eazi ft Joey B & DJ Tarico.

In the comments, under the post, X users expressed consternation at a Gospel musician "listening to many 'worldly' songs".
