A/R: Small-scale miners support Ashantifest Street Art Festival at Asokwa Interchange
A group of small-scale miners has donated items to support the ongoing Ashantifest Street Art Festival at the Asokwa Interchange.
The donation, led by their leader Okomfo Kwadae, forms part of efforts to support Senior High School Visual Art students participating in the festival and to promote culture and creativity.
The miners, inspired by the artistic displays at the event, provided drinks, bottled water, and other essential supplies to aid the smooth running of activities.
Speaking to the media, Joseph Addae, an executive member of the group and Constituency Youth Organiser for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Manso Adubia Constituency, commended the students for their talent and dedication.
He stressed the need to encourage young people to develop their creative abilities, noting that such initiatives help nurture talent.
Addae also pointed to the wider impact of the project, highlighting its potential to attract tourists and support local businesses.
