The Minister for the Interior, Alhaji Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka, has marked his birthday with generous donations to three charitable institutions in his constituency, namely the Kumasi Children’s Home, the Garden City Special School, and the King Jesus Charity Home.

The gesture included 50 bags of rice, 50 packs of bottled water, and an undisclosed amount of cash presented to each of the institutions.

The donations were made on behalf of the Minister by a delegation led by his younger brother and the Ashanti Regional Director of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), Alhaj Muniru Muntaka.

Other members of the team included Alhaj Mustafa Ayariga and Alhaj Cissey.

Speaking on the motivation behind the gesture, Alhaji  Muntaka said the initiative was part of his commitment to give back to society and express gratitude to Allah for His continuous blessings.

“As I celebrate my special day, I want to show appreciation to the Almighty Allah by reaching out to the less privileged in my cherished constituency of Asawase,” he said.

“I am very grateful to Allah for how far He has brought me.”

The beneficiary institutions expressed their appreciation to the Minister for his consistent support and compassion toward vulnerable groups in the community.
