The Chief Executive Officer of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Julius Neequaye Kotey, has expressed profound appreciation to the Parliamentary Select Committee on Subsidiary Legislation for what he described as its exceptional work in supporting the Authority’s regulatory mandate.

In a statement, Mr. Kotey extended gratitude to the Committee for its commitment and professionalism, noting that its contribution has strengthened collaboration between Parliament and regulatory institutions.

He also thanked the Ministry of Transport and its staff for their guidance and support, as well as the Ghana Police Service and the National Road Safety Authority for their partnership in advancing road safety and compliance efforts nationwide.

The DVLA CEO further acknowledged the efforts of the Authority’s technical and expert team, whose work he said has been instrumental in ensuring effective implementation of regulatory frameworks.

Mr. Kotey emphasised that the apolitical nature of the collaboration among the various institutions is both commendable and inspiring, adding that such unity of purpose strengthens public confidence and augurs well for Ghana’s development.

He reiterated the DVLA’s commitment to sustaining the partnership to enhance service delivery and regulatory efficiency in the transport sector.
