DVLA CEO supports Ghana Medical Trust Fund’s ‘Kyɛrɛ Wo Dɔ’ campaign
The Chief Executive Officer of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Mr. Julius Neequaye Kotey, has visited the Secretariat of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund to support its ongoing “Kyɛrɛ Wo Dɔ” (Show Your Love) campaign.
His visit follows a similar gesture by the Member of Parliament for Odododiodioo, Alfred Nii Ashie Kotey, who has been championing the initiative aimed at mobilising support for vulnerable families in need of critical medical assistance.
Moved by the life-saving objective of the campaign, Mr. Neequaye Kotey pledged his support and nominated a number of prominent individuals to join the drive.
They include Dr. Valerie Sawyerr, Senior Presidential Advisor for Governmental Affairs; Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, Founder of Engineers and Planners; Mr. Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe, Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority; Mr. Malik Basintale, Chief Executive of the Youth Employment Agency; Mr. George Spencer Quaye, Board Chairman of the DVLA; Mr. Sammy Gyamfi, Chief Executive of the Ghana Gold Board; Mr. Afetsi Awoonor, Chief Executive of the Bulk Energy Storage and Transportation Limited (BOST Energies); and Nii Boi.
The Ghana Medical Trust Fund’s “Kyɛrɛ Wo Dɔ” campaign seeks to rally public and private sector leaders to contribute towards life-saving interventions and restore hope to families facing severe medical challenges.
The Administrator of the Fund, Adwoa Oboubia Darko -Opoku, expressed appreciation for the growing support and called on more stakeholders to join the effort to sustain the initiative and expand its impact nationwide.
