The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has issued a public alert warning against recent fake recruitment scams targeting unsuspecting individuals.

The scams, according to the FDA, involve fraudulent messages and emails soliciting personal information or money in exchange for employment opportunities with the Authority.

In a statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer, the FDA emphasized that it does not request payments or personal details as part of its recruitment processes.

The FDA has advised the public to remain vigilant and provided the following tips to avoid falling victim:

Be cautious of any communication requesting personal information or payments for job offers. Report any suspicious messages to the FDA’s Head Office or Regional Offices across the country.

The FDA encouraged individuals to reach out through its official communication channels for clarification or to report incidents.
