GSA, GRA must answer questions over missing 1300 containers at Tema Port – Energy Analyst

News
Benjamin Nsiah, Energy Analyst

Energy Analyst Benjamin Nsiah has accused the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) and the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) of failing to account for the disappearance of over 1,300 containers belonging to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

The containers are said to have vanished from the Tema Port, Tema, Greater Accra Region.

Nsiah’s comment followed the report of an investigative committee put together by Energy & Green Transition Minister John Jinapor uncovering more than 1,300 containers, meant to be cleared at the Tema Port, were unaccounted for.

In later development, Jinapor revealed in an interview 40 containers had been found after the report. He assured of a full-scale investigation, involving the Attorney General and police.

Reacting to the development, Energy Analyst Benjamin Nsiah called out the GSA and the GRA to respond.
