Gov't awaits £1 million Spanish grant to expand Aayalolo fleets – Local Gov't Minister
The Government of Ghana is awaiting a £1 million grant from Spain to expand the fleet of Aayalolo buses, the mass transit service operating in Accra and surrounding areas.
The announcement was made by the Minister for Local Government, who noted that the grant would support the acquisition of additional buses to improve service delivery, reduce passenger wait times, and ease traffic congestion in the capital.
The expansion is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Ghana’s public transport system and ensure reliable and efficient mass transit for commuters.
