Haruna Iddrisu discharged after road traffic accident
The Ministry of Education has announced that the Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has been discharged from the hospital following a road traffic accident.
In a statement issued on February 14, 2026 and signed by Hashmin Mohammed, Press Secretary to the Minister for Education, said the Minister was treated at the 37 Military Hospital and has since been released after receiving medical care.
According to the statement, Hon. Iddrisu is in good spirits and has been advised by doctors to take adequate rest as part of his recovery process.
The Minister expressed sincere gratitude to the medical team for their professionalism and care, as well as to the public for their prayers and support during his brief hospitalisation.
