Images from when President Mahama swore in IGP C.T. Yohuno

The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has shared images of when Mr Christian Tetteh Yohuno was sworn in as the new Inspector General of Police (IGP).
On Facebook, Saturday, March 15, 2025, the service wrote on Facebook, "The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, on 14th March 2025, swore Mr Christian Tetteh Yohuno into office as the 31st Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
"With this appointment, IG Christian Tetteh Yohuno becomes the 25th Ghanaian to lead the esteemed Ghana Police Service since independence."
The statement ended with, "Congratulations, IGP Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno [explosion emoji]."
Apart from President Mahama and IGP Yohuno, pictures attached to the above caption showed Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, Defence Minister Edward Omane Boamah, Interior Minister Mubarak Mohammed Muntaka, and, among others, high-ranking officials from the police service.
IGP Yohuno replaces Dr George Akuffo Dampare.
