The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kwahu South, David Effah Osei Bonsu, has appealed to the Minister for Roads and Highways to facilitate the immediate resumption of work on the stalled Kwahu Business Forum road project.

Speaking at the Kwahu South Municipal Assembly's General Assembly meeting in Mpraeso, Mr Osei Bonsu said the prolonged suspension of the project has led to the rapid deterioration of the Atibie main road due to increased traffic and diversions.

He said the abandoned project is disrupting transportation, affecting economic activities and placing additional pressure on the municipality's road network.

The MCE called on the Roads Minister to intervene and ensure the contractor returns to site to complete the project.

On sanitation, Mr Osei Bonsu said the Assembly is providing modern toilet facilities in schools across the municipality to improve hygiene and create a better learning environment for pupils.

He also urged residents to comply with sanitation regulations and support efforts to keep their communities clean.

Mr Osei Bonsu reaffirmed the Assembly's commitment to improving infrastructure and sanitation to enhance the living standards of residents in the municipality.
