Lands Ministry sets results-driven agenda for 2026 at management retreat
The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources has outlined a results-driven agenda for 2026, following a three-day management retreat held at Ellembele in the Western Region.
The retreat brought together Heads of Agencies, Directors, and Senior Officials of the Ministry under the theme “Ideate, Strategise, Deliver,” aimed at strengthening coordination, improving policy execution, and enhancing service delivery across the sector.
Discussions at the retreat focused on developing innovative strategies, assessing performance outcomes, and aligning institutional efforts with national development priorities in the areas of land administration, forestry, mining, and natural resource management.
Officials used the platform to review ongoing programmes, identify operational challenges, and design practical solutions to accelerate reforms and improve accountability.
The Minister, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, on his part, indicated that the outcomes of the retreat will guide policy implementation and operational planning in 2026, with emphasis on measurable results, efficiency, and sustainable management of Ghana’s natural resources.
